This makes no sense at all!

They want to beat piracy but are taking this kind of action!

What do you mean? It is not a company's job to treat all of their customers like potential criminals. I have Little Snitch running on all of my Macs - not because I pirate software but because I want to know what data is leaving my computer and where it wants to go.
