Hi everyone. I hate to make my first post on the forums a plea for help, but I'm getting desperate here.
I have an iphoto library with a history of being screwed up. I attempted some hack to sync the library between two computers some time ago and it got stuff kinda wonky. That said, I also have a LOT of albums, keywords, ratings, film rolls, etc that I would rather not lose by doing a brute force re-import of all of my photos.
The problem is - the search within iphoto is completely screwed up. Certain photos, even though I see them with my own two eyes, refuse to show up when I search for their title or filename. If I use spotlight to search the exact same word, the photo shows up. I tried exiting iphoto and restarting holding command-option, and selecting the option to rebuild the database, but this didn't do the trick.
Does anyone have any clue how I might be able to get search working again without completely losing all of the work I've done to categorize my photos?
