How in Gods name do you change the tempo of the drums in the middle of a song????? I am trying to use the drum loops for songwriting and the songs arent the same tempo throughout.

You have to write your sped-up tracks to AIFs and import them back in to the slower tempo. Not the most convenient option, but the only one I can think of.
