Question...
My music library and photo library maxed out the 60 gig drive they're on, so I installed a new 160 gb drive in my Digital Audio G4 Tower and moved the files over. Now - for some reason, some of the files will not play. I can see them in the finder, move them, copy them, see them in iTunes but the music won't play and the videos won't play either. Some of them I got off of the iTunes Music Store, and some are disks I have and encoded. I tried copying the files to another authorized mac, and they won't play there either.
Any ideas why?
Two possible related items - while doing the hardware swap, I alwo put in a dvd drive and installed 10.4. Previously the computer was running 10.3. Also - the drive is 160 gb (which used to be in an enclosure and showed up as 160) but after I moved it, the internal bus only sees it as 128 GB. I know that is from the bus limitations, but I don't see how that can relate here.
Any help would be appreciated!
