Hi everyone
Can anyone help? I'm doing a series of video tutorials for a friend using Snapz Pro (most recent version) - these tutorials are being uploaded to the web for him to download. Does anyone know what the best codec is to use for capturing screen use as a movie.. nothing to intensive in the video, just moving the mouse around the finder with me talking as the audio.

I've done some experiments and the files seem to be huge.. or blurry and the text unviewable. I'm looking for a compromise.. I know that on windows there are a few.
I'd like to compress them to about 512 pixels wide and make them available online.

h264 seems to be promoted, but the screen looks a little wased out when I use it?
Any ideas? I have final cut express, qt pro and imovie if that helps

cheers
andrew
