Is the file hosted on your site, or externally?

Google for 'html tutorial'. You will need to understand the basics of html for this to work. Thankfully there are many good tutorials around.

1. Make sure the file is on your idisk.
2. Select the piece of text, graphic, picture or whatever you want to be clickable.
3. Show the Link panel on the inspector, and tick the box marked "Enable as a hyperlink".
4. Select "A File" from the "Link to:" popup menu.
5. Choose the file you want to make downloadable.

What could be simpler? Why does this thread have so many useless replies? What help would an html tutorial be?

Barney.
