I tried to burn a disc of a podcast I downloaded but it wouldn't complete the initialization process. I tried a couple of discs ...

I had gone to iTune prefs and picked mp3 cd to burn .....

Are podcasts not burnable? ..... Thanks ....

The format's not the problem. When your prefs say to burn mp3 CDs and you burn a playlist with non-mp3 tracks, iTunes gives you an option to burn without 'em or cancel. Can you burn regular audio CDs? Can you burn an mp3 CD from a playlist with no tracks in common?

Of course, if the podcast is a non-mp3 file, you should burn it as audio anyway, so Jacke's point is still useful

Get info shows it as a mpeg -2, layer 3 file ...... 16.5 mb's

I can burn audio cds ..... I don't know what you mean by burning an mp3 from a playlist with no tracks in common

I have the file in its own playlist .... and its checked of course ...

I've read that this problem is common on other forums .....
