I got this trying to burn some data to a dvd-rw disc I have satisfactorily used before today,

Nevertheless, I have plenty or RAM available…

I have tried to burn the disc at the slowest speed Toast let me do it, this is the only dvd-rw disc I have around here, but as I have said, it worked flawlessly before. Data size is 3 GB, there is more than enough room in the dvd-rw disc to accommodate it.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?

Thanks for your interest, over 55 GB free in the start up disk -where Toast resides- and 70 GB free in the second internal hard disk -where is the data to be burn placed-.

OK, same issue with Toast 6… but I finally solved it… I guess there were some damaged folder between the items to be 'toasted'… since once I did a new copy -to the hard disk- of the same items, Toast was able to burn the DVD with Toast 7.

BTW: while Toast 6 icon is cool, Toast 7 icon is terrible, so my copy of Toast 7 got a new icon… an older one in fact !!

I wonder if this is OS 9 code back from the dead causing some weird bugs to crop up.

I also find weird such error message, the issue -a damaged or corrupted data folder- has nothing to do with the OS lacking some RAM…
