I've searched thinking this would be a common problem, but couldn't find anything. I'm using the handel font, and here are some pictures:

As you can tell, all of this text should be placed a little higher.
In my silk preferance pane i have the following options selected:
Quartz Options enabled
Use True Type Scaler Graphs
Use Quartz Text Rendering
Use Quartz Text Metrics
Prefer font outline versions.
Please help me figure out this problem.
