help me, somebody told me if I use QT Pro and export the file as 3GPP and then change the extension as AMR it will do the job. how that's sound? anyone?

Phone ringtones are quite different depending on manufacturer/provider and depending on phone. The only "standard" I can think of for multiple phones would have to be MIDI, but those suck for anything except instrumentals.
I find the audio I want and then use amadeus to cut out the parts of the clip that I want as a ringtone. Save it as an mp3 file, bluetooth file transfer it to my cellphone, and I have a new ringtone.
