So I was encoding some DVDs as mp4 with HandBrake -I love how they look without the letterbox format- to find that one of them has no sound while QT Player reproduces it, I use the same options -and codec- as with previous films where sound is indeed working fine.

This is how HandBrake window looks previously to hit the Rip button…



So far QT Player says a sound track is there…



Has anything like that happened to you?, so far I am derailed about this one

So you have not changed any settings? Have you tried re-ripping one that worked previously? If that doesn't work then it looks like something has changed...

Well, the rip I got in the hard disk plays just fine (that is with sound) with Mac OS X DVD Player, so the issue has to be with HandBrake… weird, huh?

I have tried it with the cute "Instant HandBrake" with no luck, but hey, that app looks absurdly easy to use
