is there a way to make iphoto faster? i have a little over 2000 photos, and it takes a good 30 seconds to load all the pics. i have all the thumbnails on the default size so it doesnt have to waste time resizing them. i guess the best way is to increase RAM, and I will, but for right now can i tweak it a bit?

Turn off the drop shadows for the thumbnail view.

Collapsing the rolls helps, too.
