I have installed this late yahoo messenger 3 and right now for me is still in test period because I was using adium until now.

I want to ask some things:

1) What feature I need to enable in the preferences in order for the yahoo mess application to store the logs? I think the folder in wich it stores them it is User>Documents.

2) Is there at least a little view customization for the contact list? because this default one does not autoresize and has no opacity and I wish to view the contacts in it a little smaller (because are alot) size.

3) Is there anyway to make the dock icon to bounce continously when I receive an instant message?

4) Is the metal brushed contact list view available only for the "On my webcam mode" ?

5) Can I customize a little more the growl notifications?

6) How do I set my font color, only for my messages not for those of my contacts?

7) Is the file transfer compatible with yahoo messenger 8 beta for PC?

Considering it is a beta, the answer to most of your questions would be no.

If you have it installed can;t you figure these things out for yourself? I know I did within the first 2 minutes of reading through the prefs and menus.
