Hey everyone

I just got a MBP so I am reinstalling all of my favorite programs. I installed popcorn 1.0 and registered it and all that. However, every time i try to open a video_ts folder or video file, the app crashes. I get a window that says "the application unexpectedly crashed. the computer and other apps have not been affected." blah blah. Any ideas?

I tried trashing the popcorn folder from my applications and reinstalling. Didn't work. Didn't even ask for my registration again.

I tried looking at my mac HD and user libraries but didn't find anything popcorn in the app support folders.. help please?

I THINK you may need to install/download the incremental release. I seem to remember having this same problem with Popcorn 1.0 last spring. And I think downloading the update fixed the problem. But please note that you will need all your registration info to get the update. It's one of the things that really, really bugs me about roxio. In my case, I had to do a bit of digging to find the right registration info, b/c you definitely have to have the one for which you registred THAT product, as opposed to one of Roxio's other products. And I have more than one.

bbales is correct. And FYI, Popcorn 2 is an Intel-native app. Much better performance than Popcorn 1 running on an Intel Mac.
