sherlock refuses to open when connected to internet

This is really aggrivating me i love sherlock!
When i open sherlock it quits while loading channels everytime!
If i turn off airport sherlock opens but its useless.
Now if i turn off my airport then open sherlock then turn back on airport, it stays open but will not connect to internet. i tried to add channels but no good "add channel" in the menu bar is greyed.
Also i noticed that sherlock help only works when it wants to.
Help guys
