Actually underlapping...I have a few rows of icons/folders/files on my desktop and the ones on the bottom are underneath my dock. Kind of annoying since it sometimes selects the dock when I go to open them. Is there any kind of fix for that? I've been playing around with the view options but haven't found anything yet.

Can't you move them so they're not underneath the dock? It will help if you turn off the option to automatically keep the icons arranged.

Yeah but I like that option

When in Finder use command-j and put the icons so they snap to grid so you can move them in a nice spot. Or you could hide the dock.
