Anyone know of a bug in iMovie that makes exported mp4s not work in QuickTime? the files actually open in VLC alright, but say "Error opening movie" when opened in QT.

What version of Quicktime do you have? What version of iMovie?

I've got the same exact problem, same exact versions of Quicktime and iMovie.
