How do you unlock files with a DRMI codec?

How do you unlock .mp4 and .mov files with a DRM video codec? Because I got some cool videos I want to burn with iDVD, but everytime I add them it says "ERROR: Un-supported file type"

I think the point of DRM is that you're not supposed to be allowed to do that. And to circumvent it could be unlawful, at least in the United States.
