My MBP crashes (freezes) everytime I open up Google Earth. Tried it with both the newest stable version and the beta. It will open, stream about 10 - 80% and then freeze.
I've got a Gig of Ram, a fast internet connection, and a 2 month old MBP that doesn't have any other issues. The graphic setting in Google Earth are "Medium" and "16 bit".
Should be no problem. What's going on???

I have a 17" MBP, 1GB ram, fast connection and Google Earth, older version and most recent both work fine. No issues at all. I have the settings at default. Sorry that doesn't help with your problem, but just for the record..
