Hello. I do a lot of imaging and stuff like that, and need to FTP it onto my website. The problem is, there are no good FTP clients that are free for Mac that I can find ...
I use Fetch, but it takes forever to load, and is only good for transferring single small files. When I need to transfer a lot of files, I have to use Dreamweaver, which is a pain because there's no drag and drop, and you have to put all your files in ~/Sites/~
Anyone know of any good ones? I wish Finder's FTP extension allowed write access ... Is there any mod or something for that?
Thanks,
Chris

I have been using cyberduck for the past few days and it's been fine.

I've been using Fetch for years and have never had trouble with it. Perhaps some setting is wrong?

Fetch crashes a lot, and has trouble connecting to my server. I downloaded a new version, maybe it'll be better.

I'm a big fan of Transmit. Yah, it's $29.95, but it's a great application.
Fetch for me had major problems a while back (I don't think they jumped on OS X as fast as I would have liked). The OS X version, for me, didn't feel as rock solid as the OS 9 version. It would crash or not connect to servers (they very well could have fixed that problem). I also loved Cyberduck... but one of the updates just didn't work... and the next upgrade didn't work well either.
Transmit has been near perfect. The design is simply fantastic.

Cyberduck is free and works for me. I upload an iweb site of several MB every week or two and I've never had any trouble.

hmm... I agree with cbk1994... although I plan on buying Transmit for FTPing my sites online, I do like to use my "projbacks" (Project Backups) directory, and having it work just like a finder window would be preferable.

What version are you using? I too have been a satisfied Fetch user for years, and to the best of my recollection I have never had a serious problem with it.
