Its in arabic but garbaged = e in the middle of words. This happens in all browsers most of the time and only on mac osx. windows works perfectly. it does work sometimes.

What could be the problem. Please check and see if you people have this same problem. Im on the verge on a macosx reinstall :o ....Or im shifting back to windows.

works fine here on Safari in 10.4.7, text-encoding (View menu) set to "Standard"

thanks for partly solving my problems. Its windows-arabic (1256) text encoding that is causing the problems. However, I can not change the default to something else . I tried going to preferences in safari and changed the default encoding. Everytime I open a new tab, the problem is back. This happens for all browsers.

I tried changing the encoding manually to Arabic ISO and the extra characters disappeared.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

That's because the people who wrote the page appear to have put the totally wrong charset into the html code, namely win-1256 instead of iso-8859-6. Write them and tell them to change it. It is hard to believe they cannot see this themselves, but if they are only using Win IE, that browser may be too stupid to notice.
