where did you get this installer? front row should have come pre-installed on your macbook.

As far as I know, there's no Apple-sanctioned installer for Front Row. It's part of OS X.

i typed it in on spotlght and the top hit was FrontRow.pkg
i transfered my files from my old mac witch was a PPC iMac G5 no biult in isight
does that have something to do with it/

That's probably just the package receipt in /Library/Receipts, which doesn't actually contain any files. You should already have Front Row installed, why do you think that you don't?

Front Row should be installed by default on your MacBook. There is no need to install it separately. Just hit menu on your remote and see what happens.
