My mom just got a new top-of-the line Intel Mini, and I just had a couple of questions...

Does anyone have suggestions for a Universalized disk repair utility? And I was just wondering if anyone had heard from M-Audio about an update for their Sonica Theatre Driver to be Universalized as well? I want to hook my Klipsch speakers up to the Mini using the Sonica Theatre, but the newest driver isn't Universal yet....

Oh ya... and my mom also has an extensive database of autofills in Safari. And she can't find where exactly safari stores the information for autofill forms. She's copied all the preferences and everything else, but the autofill information is the only data that doesn't transfer for some odd reason.

Techtool Pro is universal now. Disk tools are nowhere near as useful these days though - Disk Utility has improved a lot, and journalled HFS prevents a lot of common errors.

Did you use the migration tool to import data from the old Mac, or did you just copy some files? The migration tool copies the entire home directory, and that ought to do it.

I'd just use Disk Utility until the UB version of DiskWarrior comes out.

ya, I just noticed the migration utility! I'll tell her to run it... duh... I didn't even know Apple had a built-in migration system utility in Tiger. Good to know...

I think my mom will just stick with Apple's system utility for now until some more apps get universalized....

Anyone hear anything about Sonica Theatre drivers being updated???
