Hey there,

I'm looking to make exact copies of CD's and Data disc's but I can't find anything on my Mac that will do it. And I can't afford Toast right now. But is there anything out there for free download that with burn exact copies of data that are Mac compadable? My mom's Sony Vaio has an awesome program for this and I have been using her machine but would just prefer using mine. Thanks.

You can use Disk Utilty (Applications-->Utilities) to create a disk image, and then burn it.

To do so, from the File menu select New>Create Disk Image from (Select a Device)... and generate a CD/DVD master from the inserted Disk. Save it to e.g. your desktop and then use Disk Utility to burn CD/DVDs of the master image.
