I have the option of either using an Exchange account or a SyncML account to basically synchronize my emails, calendar and contacts. This account will be accessed in a very mixed environment- for example, on a Mac, on a PC and on mobile phones.

I dont like Entourage much which, I believe, is the only way to access Exchange on the Mac. I wanted to know that if I chose SyncML, what options/applications do I have on the Mac to have my Calender/Conacts and Emails synchronized.

I also wanted to know if anyone has experience with the amount od data thats tarnsfererred during a sync. This is important for me in the sense that data prices on my mobile are expensive and I would prefer to chose the method that syncs OTA with lesser overheads.

Thanks
-a
