Greetings,

I'm currently using NetNewsWire and have all of my RSS feeds and bookmarked posts in there.

Two questions:

1. Can NewsFire import all of these?

2. Which program is better? [subjective]

thanks

1. Try it?

2. NetNewsWire Lite? I use that. I really like NewsFire, I dont however like the developer. Hes an asshat. I personally would go for NetNewsWire Pro over NewsFire for that reason alone.

The developer of NewsFire is a douche bag.

I agree with the developer comments, hence that's another reason why I'm hesistant about switching away from NNW to NewsFire. Though, I do like the interface of NewsFire.

I tried exporting the NNW feeds to OMPL, but NewsFire didn't want to import it.

any other experiences or comments?

Take a look at the recently accounced NetNewsWire 3.0 sneak peek. The interface reminds me of less colorful, less flashy version of NewsFire.

Haven't tinkered around with the downloadable version myself.

thanks hiddentrack... i saw that blog post also... though I'm daring enough to try out the beta for a program I rely on so much The interface imo, still doesn't look as good as newsfire. But it's more feature-rich. Typically I decide this on a case-by-case basis, but with newsfire, i really think the interface is much better. thus, i'm in a pickle
