when a movie is playing that you downloaded from internet and you choose to save as quicktime movie is it normal that what is saved is only what has played thus far? I sometimes see just beginning saved and the rest is white screen. thanks.

Did you let it finish downloading first?

Yeah, did some test, and I guess that is the protocol. Still, even so, some don't come out full. It would be nice if you could select yes, to download as quicktime movie, and the walk away.

Option click the link and save to Desktop.
