I'm trying to download directories for backup from a unix dedicated server I own. Someone else manages it and has root permissions for some items (as they should). But when I download, I inevitably run into permission errors on some files. Neither Fetch 5.1 or Transmit 3.54 appear to know how to gracefully skip those files and continue to download the thousands of file I do have permissions for.

So either or I or someone else must sit in front of the computer and click on each dialog box or the download stops. Not a problem, except for time: one site on the server has over 25,000 html files. We'd really like to run this overnight.

Anyone know of a solution?
