how do i compress a dvd project???

	i have a bunch of AVI and MOV files i would like to save to dvd so that i can watch them on my dvd player. the thing is that i dont want to have to put only a few on one dvd and use up all my dvds. example.. i used idvd 5 and my dvd project turnes out to be 6.9g and want it all on a 4.7. is there another app that i can use to compress it then burn it to dvd, or even just export it to a disc image so i can compress it with dtox? much thanks, S
