Difficulty Importing from CD inot iTunes

	Hey Guys, I recently purchased a 2.o GHZ MacBook Pro. I have had extensive problems importing from CD into iTunes, usuailly I start to import a CD and then it slows to a snails pace (importing that is) and then just freezes the computer. I cant force quit or anyhting. Any sugestions? I wonder if it has to do with some sort of copy right patent on the CD? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
