ive tried to install smackbook on my 15 powerbook and for some reason i get stuck at the perl part. ive followed the tutorials online but no dice. im just wanting to see how this thing is in person. i like the desktopmanager, great alternative to not havind multi monitors.

VirtueDesktops has this functionality built-in if I'm not mistaken.

ive tried virtuedesktop and it did nothing. litteraly nothing when i launched it. could be cause i am still using 10.3

Ah, yes. Could be. Next question would be: are you sure your laptop has the motion sensor?

ya know, that would be a terrific question to answer...... hhhmmmm.. how do i check that?

To check if you have the motion sensor, just go into the "about this mac" item in the apple menu on the top left of the screen, click on the more info button.

In the left column of the new window make sure the top item "hardware" is selected, in the main frame on the right hand side of this window it should mention the motion sensor in the last 3 lines of the text describing the hardware setup.

If not, then u dont have a sensor, and that would be ur problem.

there goes my problem, no sensor. oh well. probably better that i dont hit my computer all the time anyway haha. thanks for the help
