Long story short - recently made the switch...on the PC, my wife had Scrapbook Factory Deluxe from Nova software...bought and installed Print Explosion Deluxe, same company, for the Mac...

Now here's the deal...turn on the iMac, and Print Explosion Deluxe decides it wants to start as well. Since I've recently switched to the Mac, I'm not sure how to see how it's doing this.

I checked in the StartupItems, nothing there...can someone point me in the right direction?

If you click and hold in an application icon in the Dock a menu will pop-up. There is a menu item that says "Launch at log-in". You can check/uncheck this like you want. Alternatively you can look into System Preferences->Accounts->Log-in objects.

Maybe, just maybe, you used the contextual menu of the Dock a little bit carelessly. Check that on your auto starting apps you don't have the "Open at Login" option checked. By using the contextual menu in the Dock.
