Why is it that with the files I have "Lostified" I cannot successfully get iTunes to display additional metadata other than the Name and Artist? The season data never displays. Anyone have a solution?

Some atoms are in the spec, but aren't supported by iTunes. If you want iTunes to display them, send feedback to Apple.

It worked for me. Are you looking in the Videos section of iTunes? Have you tried Parsley is Atomically Delicious?

No, but thank you for the referral to it. I'll have to do some more testing.

Success. First I tried PAD, but I got the same result (and PAD froze up the window server on my machine for many seconds while processing the file i tried - didn't like that), so I went back to Lostify. I tried a different strategy this time, though: I opened an iTMS video file in Lostify since those do display properly. I then took a screen shot of the Lostify window and used the iTMS file as a reference for my own. I thought it was unnecessary to populate so many fields with identical data (Show Name = Artist; Season = Album), but if those fields are not populated then iTunes and the iPod will choke on the metadata.

Aha! That's how I've always done it. Sorry about PAD.

No need to apologize - it's good to know Lostify isn't the only game in town even if I didn't like the competition.
