No but I believe you to have to re-download the program and use the uninstaller.

Install the new one, then un-install.

App Zapper can be a dangerous app...especially when you're zapping apps that swap things in and out.

I thought AppZapper just puts the 'zapped' stuff in the trash can?
If not, surely you have another browser? If not, i can upload Speed Download 3/4 to my webspace and you could wget it.

the new version of SD doesn't come with an uninstaller option. so, I will really apreciate that you upload it and then try and uninstall it! thanx

try doing a spotlight search for anything related to speed download and trash it. Look for files in plugin folders in the library etc. (you can try searching for files created around the time you installed speed download to find them). You'll need to update OS X to get the Safari updates I think.

Their web-site says it does.

Speed Download | The Ultimate Mac OS X download manager

Get the 10.4.7 combo-update and run it again to get the newest Safari version.

Well, Back again with a brand new Mac OS Tiger installation... erase and install was my only option... so, a good back up and BUM! no problems... in fact it's running faster now... I wonder what other stuff was messy inside it....? but anyway THANX

All you had to do was delete the Speed Download files in ~/Library/InputManagers/ and ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins/.
