I last successfully sync'd 8-6-06. I went to sync again today (three attempts), and the conduit manager quit each time while trying to autoupdate Epocrates, a pharmacology database. I tried rebooting but the same error comes up at the same point in sync-ing. I have an iBook running Mac OS 10.4.7 and iSync 2.3; and a Palm running Palm OS 4.5.2. I have not had this problem before. I have used Epocrates with this iBook for 10 months without this problem, but don't know which direction to try and attack this problem from. Any advice would be appreciated. Searches only lead me to aged posts, >3yrs old.

have been thru this as well, over a year ago.
tried everything, even apple support.
NOTHING fixed it.
isync kept quitting.

i finally deleted all the palm stuff (kept my user files, of course), and did an archive and install, then reinstalled the palm desktop software.

THEN i was back in business.

wish i had a better suggestion.

anyone else??

Have you tried Resetting the Sync History (in iSync Preferences)? Don't know if it would help, but might be worth a shot (read up on it in Mac Help first).
