Don't get me wrong, I like the built in DVD player app, but there's something missing. My very favourite Quicktime feature is the ability to step forward and backward frame by frame using the arrow keys. It's great for catching those little things that fans like to obsess about. With DVD Player, you can fast forward and rewind, but no stepping. Does anyone know of a DVD player app that can do that?

You can step forward by hitting pause then using the right arrow key to step forward frame by frame. You can also use the step frame button in the controller. However, I haven't found a way to step backwards.

Hmm, I checked and as far as I can see VLC can't do this either, which is kinda odd (unless I missed something somewhere).

Huh, I don't know why I didn't notice that DVD Player can step forward... maybe I only tried backward. Odd to only have one.
