My friend has a bunch of DVD's I would like to rip. For those of you who are familiar with ripping DVD's, what is the best application or software that you would reccomend for this?

MACNN AND THE MACNN FORUMS DO NOT CONDONE NOR ALLOW THE ENABLING OF PIRACY. For the purpose posted, this is piracy. For making copies of YOUR OWN, PAID FOR BY YOU DVDs, RipDifferent, MacTheRipper and others work fine.

But if you do this, it's YOUR behind. You've posted a request for how to do something illegal in a public forum. That knock you hear may be the MPAA's lawyers with a nice lawsuit for you, and you HAVE asked for it.
