Hi All,

I will soon regularly need to make very minor changes to an evolving Quark document. I am reallly not keen to part with a whole load of money to do very little with this behemoth of an application.

Does anyone know of an app that will allow me to import Quark files, make simple text changes, and then export out again (Quark, PDF, whatever)

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

No such animal. If you need to edit Quack, you need Quack.
A better solution may be to PDF the quack file and make the changes to the PDF via Acrobat.

Thanks for the response almaink.

Do you know how flexible Acrobat is in terms of editing? Will it just allow text changes, or will it allow more detailed layout decisions if needs be?

Thanks again

If you have PitStop you can do just about anything with a PDF. It's all a matter of knowhow. If you don't have PitStop you can still edit, it's just a little bit harder.
