I had a PC at work that I could connect to fine via MS RDC with my work Mac. I brought this PC home and want to connect from my iBook. I plugged the PC into my router with an ethernet cable, and my iBook connects to the router via wifi. I loaded MS RDC onto the iBook, but I cannot connect to the PC. I can see the PC and access shared folders using the Finder>Network, but RDC says it can't find the PC.

I had to set up the PC for DHCP at home (cable modem), whereas it had a static IP address at work. Would this make a difference? I always logged in using the IP address at work, but at home I'm trying using the PC network name (which the Finder sees fine).

Nevermind. I just got the dynamic IP address and that worked fine.
