When I open a .txt file created in TextEdit in TextWrangler, the line breaks dissapear. As near as I cam figure out, the problem is that TextEdit's line breaks aren't UNIX-compatible, which is why they don't show up in TextWranger. However, what I can't figure out is an easy way to fix this. I have a lot of .txt files I'd need to fix.

When you open the file from TextWrangler (using the File->open menu) have you tried turning off "Translate Line Breaks" and messing with the "read as" setting?

Yeah. I actually managed to solve this by finding an app that does batch processing txt files into UNIX format.

Now the real problem is dealing with rtf files, which textwranger doesn't seem to handle.
