Hi,

I have a few questions about Safari. I've been using the WindowsXP (Extra Prone) for a long time, on the IE, I always try to take cautions about what cookies to accept and I have to scan for adware and virus etc. But on the Safari I don't seem to need to do any of those. I am wondering where does Safari store info such as cookies?

And also are there and software that I can use to scan for adware and virus? I am sure Mac will will catch virus as well perhaps just not as often.

Hi MacPC,

You can see the cookies in Safari's preferences, under the Security tab. Click the button labeled Show Cookies. From there, you can delete any single cookie or all of them.

If you want to clear everything in Safari (cookies, history, bookmarks, etc.) you can select Reset Safari from the Safari menu. This returns everything to it's brand spankin' new (clean) configuration.

As for viruses/malware/adware on the Mac...there aren't any.
