First I need to know how I can view hidden files on my mac book and ipod.

Lastly I currently use Divx player quicktime player and flip4mac wm componets and i hate using so many programs to view media. Can anybody recommend a all in one media player to player all most all codecs out there?

Well if you already have the divx codec and wmv codec installed (flip4mac) QuickTime Player should be able to play pretty much anything.

Otherwise, you can try VLC or MPlayer (although they won't be able to play all WMV files which flip4mac can play).
