Im trying to erase a blank cd on disk utility but I only have read permissions to the cd. How do I get read and write privlages to a CD??? It isnt in the get info command.

Only CD-RWs and DVD±RWs can be erased; CD-R and DVD±R are write-once and cannot be erased once written. NO recordable CD or DVD media needs to be formatted.

What are you actually trying to do?
