Im having some problems with arabic text in all browsers with text encoding. Windows encoding won't one. When I select a different one it works fine, but a refresh resets the selected encoding. Its a search site so I can not use it with Mac OSx. Rebooting to access a website is lame.

You might try OmniWeb 5.5, which allows you to set per-site preferences for what text encoding it assumes.

It's not very clear what you are talking about, as normally you should not have encoding issues with correctly made sites. Could you provide a url and a screenshot? Email me (tom at bluesky dot org) if you like. If your problem is unconnected Arabic text, you need to remove your Windows fonts. Some more info is here:
