I'm taking a statistics class that uses an add-in for Excel called Megastat, but it's Windoze only. ;-(

Other than having Excel for OS X, can you recommend a free or open-source statistical package for OS X?

For free, I'd strongly suggest R Project. Bit of a learning curve but very powerful. Read the Using R for Introductory Statistics PDF for a good intro.

For money, Stata and SPSS offer more point-and-click friendliness.

I imagine BRussell might have a suggestion or two?

I actually found SPSS to be fun when I took a second stats course my senior year of college. No joke. Statistics is cool (as long as you aren't stuck doing all the calculations by hand).
