I want Quicktime or some app to automatically open up a Quicktime file and play it in full screen at 7am every morning. Can anybody think of an easy way to do this?

When you say "Quicktime," do you mean audio or video?

Presumably video, since I'm not sure how you'd play an audio file in full screen.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Thanks for that. I read too fast.

If you know AppleScript, you could write a script to have QuickTime Player open the movie and play it fullscreen, then assign that script as an iCal alarm.

Code:
tell application "QuickTime Player" open "Users:TETENAL:Desktop:The Movie.mov" present movie 1 end tell
That would be the AppleScript. Set it as the alert for a (recurring) iCal event.
