I'm trying my hand at creating an iMovie DVD for my newborn daughter, and it's been going ok. However, I'm running out of room on my hard drive, so I'm having to find ways to make sure everything is ok with the project.

However, I notice that I have arond 42 minutes of footage, yet iMovie thinks that the whole show is over 2 hours long. I do have a few music files in there, but nothing that would stretch it that much. I've tried clearing everything after the last file, but it will not let me.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
Keith
I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, don't even act like I didn't buy a doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".

Have you emptied the project's trash? If I recall correctly (been a couple of years since I used the program much), iMovie will just hold onto the space from deleted portions of clips until you empty the trash.

Yes, the trash has been emptied. After the 48 minute mark, there's nothing but a black screen. I try to crop it out, but am unsuccessful.

This same thing is happening to someone I work with. After say a 30 minutes project there is nothing in the timeline but if you export then it's a 45 minute clip???
