Every since installing Flash 9, Flash video sites don't consistently work properly.

This is on multiple machines: Cube, iMac G5, and MacBook.

The sites will work but a few days later I'll get flash video sites showing very choppy video. It seems the only way to fix this is to reinstall flash.

I did not have this problem with Flash 8.

P.S. This is purely a Safari Flash problem. Flash in Camino & Firefox works fine. And that's true on my other machines as well.

Lastest Tiger. No haxies.

EDIT: This is what I reported to Adobe/Macromedia and Apple:

1. This is a bug only with Flash in Safari. No problems in Firefox or Camino.

2. After one installs Flash 9, flash video playback (eg. YouTube) works fine... for several days. Then it starts to become choppy. A reboot will not fix it. The only way to fix it is to reinstall Flash 9. This is on multiple machines, including a G4, a G5 iMac, and a MacBook (Intel).

3. Flash 8 did not have this problem.

I only have choppy playback when the window is not the front most one. And only in Safari.

This is something I really wish they would fix. They are obviously limiting processor time to windows not in the front in Safari for an overall faster experience on your computer.

I get that problem too, but for this particular problem I am getting it even when Safari is at the front.

Only in Safari. No problem in Camino or Firefox.

you mean Flash Player 9, when you say Flash, the developing application comes to mind.
