i imported a cd to my library, but i must of accidentally deleted a song at one point. when i when to import that one song again, it places it under the same album name but not in the same list. for example, the track number is 4, so it will display that track first, then the rest of them. I tried moving the song to the other folder where the rest of the songs are but it always moves back. this is especially frustrating because i really enjoy the album view of itunes 7 and it is annoying to see the same album listed twice. one listing has the track 4, the next listing has the rest of the songs.

tried that too. the one song is under the artist name in Itunes Music. the rest of the album is in the Album name in Compilations, under Itunes. i tried moving the songs to all the same folder but they just go back.

Maybe it's the new "album artist" field?

That or a space at the end of the artist or album name, perhaps.

yea, i really don't feel like deleting all the songs and then re-importing the cd again, but i guess that is the only way.

hi im from mexico so im sorry about my english... i had the same problem with itunes 7 what i did was to select the songs of my wrecked album, then i right clicked and selected the obtain info option, then i checked the Album Artist option and writed "anything you want" and checked the compilation option, and click OK.... that solved the problem... optionally you can select the songs of your album then right click and selected the obtain info option, then check the Album Artist option and erase what you writed on the field.
I hope this can help you
