[Multiple Undos]

I am trying to create a custom header and footer in Excel by inserting a logo graphic on the top and bottom of the page. I have researched how to do this and all the websites say that:

View menu - Click Header/Footer - Custom Header/Footer - Insert Picture (format, etc)

However I DON'T have an insert picture option icon in this page setup menu. I don't know why, but because I don't have the option to insert an image in this menu I cannot create a custom graphic header or footer. Help!

I am running Excel X for Mac Service Release 1 and Mac OS X 10.4.7

Does anyone know anything about this? I either need to find a way to get that "insert image" option in the Custom Header/Footer page setup, or find another way to create a "letterhead" in Excel.

Import the spreadsheet into Word or save as a PDF and place into Pages. Create your header there.

I know - not much help when you run excel v.x, but the function exsists as described in excel 2004.
Perhaps you can get a demo of 2004, create the template there and open it in v.x?

I'm new to mac and having the same problem. No option to insert an image as a custom header. What do you mean by importing into Word or saving as a PDF and placing in to "Pages?" I need to insert an image as a header and another image as a footer in a spreadsheet, and so it shows up on every sheet in the workbook. Could you help me?
